Job Description

The Role



Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator will support the HR Department in providing an efficient and high-quality service to the business with regards to all HR-related administrative tasks. You will provide day-to-day support in relation to all HR activities including learning and development, recruitment and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities



Provide front line support to managers and employees as part of a HR team Assist with the full employee life-cycle, from recruitment to leavers. Support the management of the DBS process. Assist with new starter paperwork, checking paperwork to ensure that starters meet legal requirements and policy requirements and that all documentation is present and completed. Administration of training, including booking events, booking and cancelling delegates, producing monthly training reports, maintaining the training diary and co-ordinating trainers' availability to produce new training calendars each year. Assist in the administration of the recruitment, selection and induction processes, including liaising with candidates. Updating policies and the staff handbook Supporting with Employee Relations activities, including note-taking in disciplinaries and absence meetings Copying typing from notes, including completing standardised templates. Maintain paperwork and computer systems. Maintain all employee records accurately and efficiently. Producing letters and other HR-related correspondence. Assist with general copying, filing, archiving of documents as required Assisting the HR team with ad hoc projects and duties as required. Deal with confidential and sensitive information in a professional and secure manner, in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

General requirements



You will be expected to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality at all times regarding the company and its Clients. You must also work efficiently and safely at all times in accordance with the appropriate training, the Company Safety Policy and HSE guidelines.

Your ability to relate well with Clients and Staff and to maintain high professional standards is very important, alongside your ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner both in writing and verbally. In doing so you must also ensure an appropriate standard of dress and personal appearance is maintained at all times.

You should demonstrate and use initiative to carry out work with minimal supervision, including the skills to prioritise and work to strict deadlines whilst paying close attention to detail. This will be reinforced by demonstrating an enthusiastic, flexible and conscientious approach to work.

Once inducted, you should demonstrate a clear understanding of the Company's structure, values and procedures, including the QEMS.
