HR Administrator - Learning & Development Focus





Location: Dagenham

Contract Type: Fixed Term (3-6 months)

Salary: 27,000 - 33,000 per annum (DOE)


Start date: Early January 2026

About the Role



We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our team, with a strong focus on supporting Learning & Development initiatives.


This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail, and is passionate about helping employees grow and develop.


As this is a fixed term contract starting in early January, prior experience in HR and L&D support is essential to ensure you can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities



Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with mandatory learning requirements. Support the design and delivery of induction programmes and ongoing development initiatives. Ensure e-learning is completed within set timescales to maintain compliance. Arranging e-learning 'drop-in' sessions to facilitate front line operatives e-learning system access, as required. Assist with monitoring training effectiveness and gathering feedback from participants. Assist with development and roll-out of L&D programmes, including scheduling training sessions, managing attendance, and coordinating logistics. Prepare reports and updates on L&D activities for HR and management teams. Provide wider HR administration support, including responding to first line HR queries,maintaining employee files, updating HRIS, and assisting with ad-hoc projects.

About You



Previous experience in HR administration, ideally with exposure to Learning & Development and experience of LMS administration. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. Provide wider HR administration support, including first-line HR queries,maintaining employee files, updating HRIS, and assisting with ad-hoc projects. A collaborative team player with a proactive and solution focused approach. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Understanding of learning compliance requirements in a facilities management environment would be advantageous.

Working arrangements

Full-time(36 hours per week, Monday-Friday). Fixed-term contract Hybrid working options available (4 days on site preferable).
