Job Description

The College is looking to appoint an organised and enthusiastic HR Administrator to support the HR and Payroll department with a variety of administrative tasks. This includes gathering data for reports, monitoring training attendance, updating the HR Information System, and responding to queries via shared HR inboxes.

You will play a key role in the recruitment and selection process by coordinating job documentation, checking applications, requesting references, and supporting safer recruitment practices in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education. Maintaining accurate staff records and ensuring new employees complete all required training will also be part of your responsibilities.

Additionally, you will assist with employment checks, including DBS processing and maintaining the Single Central Register. The role supports attendance and performance management processes by updating records, reviewing absence reports, and ensuring appraisals are completed. A good working knowledge of HR policies and attention to detail are essential in ensuring compliance and delivering excellent service to staff across the college.
