Job Details
We are seeking an HR Adviser to join our Talent Management team within HR.
Our team responsibilities span the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning. As part of this, we play an integral role in attracting, supporting and developing young talent within the organisation.
This role focuses on the workforce youth investment programme while offering experience across the team's remit. If you want to make an impact, this is your opportunity to influence the future workforce. Your duties will involve:
Extensive collaboration with internal stakeholders-such as our education and employability teams-as well as external partners, including local colleges, universities and DWP to attract talent to Fife Council.
Active engagement with young people across the organisation by creating and further developing dedicated networks to strengthen connections and support long-term retention.
A range of Communication activities, from reports to senior management to news items and workforce messages.
Ongoing monitoring to ensure our activities align with our corporate priorities and available funding. Attention to detail is important and both data input and analysis work will be involved.
Attending and organising recruitment and youth employment events on behalf of Fife Council, while actively promoting opportunities through our social media channels to connect talent with meaningful roles.
Supporting the team with other areas of work, including compliance work related to Home Office sponsorship and PVG scheme membership.
The Person We're Looking For
As an FC7 HR Adviser, you'll be involved in supporting a range of project and business as usual work within the team remit.
We are looking for some who has/is:
A degree, or equivalent qualification, in a related field
Strong project management skills with the ability to support multiple projects
Awareness of relevant employment legislation and how it impacts on HR practices
A collaborative team player with experience of contributing to projects and supporting working groups
Confident and able to deal with and build strong relationships at all levels, inside and outside the organisation
Strong digital, data, and analytical skills, with experience of using evidence to shape solutions
A self-starter attitude, with a passion for talent management and making a difference
The ability to provide a regular and effective service
It is desirable that the successful candidate holds CIPD membership or is working towards this.
