Due to the ongoing success of our international Early Careers Programs, we have an exciting, newly-created opportunity in our HR Operations UK/US team for an operational HR Advisor to come and join us to manage the end-to-end employee life cycles of our Early Careers employees.

You\'ll be working closely with our Global Talent Attraction, Recruiting & Early Careers team, our Global Mobility Centre and the wider HR team, ensuring that the high volumes of Early Careers starters, movers and leavers are managed successfully throughout the employee lifecycle.

You\'ll also support our HR Operations team with other work, such as the continuous review of HR policies and procedures and managing the HR team inbox.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the employees\' \'rotations\' process across different departments and international RWE locations.
  • Preparing contractual documentation, managing all pre-employment Reference and Right to Work checks and ensuring all payroll changes are submitted to the relevant Payroll teams.
  • Attending Early Careers Recruitment events (Careers Fairs, Universities etc.)
  • Filing expatriate employee documentation including legal and tax documentation and international travel tracking requirements.
  • Managing invoices and payments in relation to Early Careers activities.
  • Ensuring relevant Healthcare cover is in place for local and international employees.
  • Maintaining our internal HR SAP KP3 system with all employee data.
  • Supporting and advising on Employee Relations cases (with help of the HRBP).
  • Advising on HR topics such as: Employment Benefits, Absence Management, fixed-term contract extensions and any contractual changes.
  • Providing support to the Global HR Management Team with ad hoc project activities.
This opportunity is based at our state-of-the-art Swindon campus (by Junction 16 of the M4) and can be full-time or part-time hours (5 days a week). We offer flexible and hybrid working.

Your profile

You will have previous experience in a busy, operational HR generalist role and you\'ll have worked in a fast paced, preferably international, corporate environment.

Other key requirements include:
  • Experience of working autonomously, with the ability to prioritise and self-organise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build a strong and credible reputation by developing internal and external relationships in an approachable and professional manner.
  • Highly motivated, a strong team player, flexible in your approach to work and able to adapt to changing tasks and deadlines.
  • Able to think creatively, be innovative, have accountability for your business area and proactively identify workable, practical solutions to HR challenges.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (SAP experience will be an advantage).
Advantageous, but not a must:
  • Level 5+ CIPD qualification.
  • Experience of maintaining data within SAP KP3.
  • Experience of working in a Global Mobility environment and understanding the various processes to make international rotations successful.
  • Previous experience in Early Careers.
