Job Introduction
We have two exciting opportunities for two HR Advisors to join our People Team on 6-month fixed term contracts.
As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in assessing risks and offering clear, practical advice to managers on absence management, disciplinary and grievance matters, and performance issues. You will work closely with senior management on Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal cases, ensuring compliance with company policy, employment law, and best practice.
Job Overview
Coach managers whilst providing relevant advice and guidance via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
Collaborate with senior management on Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal cases.
Maintain positive relationships whilst offering advice and guidance in line with company policy, employment law, and best practice.
Provide effective input and results on project work, statistics and reports, and creation of training materials.
Review and update company policies regularly in accordance with legislative changes and company requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department.
Keeping up to date with employment legislation and guidance.
Minimum Criteria To Apply
Have previous experience in an Employee Relations Advisor role.
Be CIPD qualified or working towards a CIPD qualification in Human Resource Management.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of employment law, HR best practice, and GDPR regulations, with an understanding of confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Bring a professional, approachable, and supportive style, with the ability to balance responsiveness and pragmatism.
Show strong commercial awareness and an understanding of business needs.
Be confident in delivering training and presentations, and in contributing to continuous departmental improvement.
