Job Description

HR Advisor role supporting four Northern UK offices, providing generalist HR guidance across employee relations, performance, and engagement. It offers hybrid working, regional travel, and the chance to influence people practices in a growing professional services firm.
You will:

  • Provide generalist HR support across four Northern UK offices
  • Advise on employee relations, performance, sickness, and return-to-work cases
  • Coach managers on fair and effective people practices
  • Lead and support regional HR initiatives and projects
  • Collaborate with Talent Management Leads and HR colleagues
  • Analyse and present people data (e.g., MI reports, engagement surveys)
  • Mentor and support the HR administration team
  • Contribute to process improvements and cross-team collaboration

The successful HR Advisor should have:
  • Proven experience managing employee relations and coaching line managers
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
  • Confidence in handling sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Analytical ability to interpret people data and present insights clearly
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams and locations
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, policies, and systems
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience
