Job Description

The HR Advisor, based in Solihull, will support the Human Resources department within the Manufacturing/Automotive sector by delivering expert advice and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This permanent position requires a professional with a strong understanding of HR functions and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency within the Manufacturing/Automotive sector.
  • Support managers with employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary processes.
  • Assist with recruitment activities such as job postings, interviews, and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of HR initiatives and projects that drive improvement and engagement.
  • Monitor and analyse HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Advise on employee benefits and wellbeing initiatives to promote a positive working environment.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations across the Manufacturing/Automotive operation.
Clear progression within position.3 day work from home hybrid schedule.
The Successful HR Advisor Should Have
  • A solid background in Human Resources within the Manufacturing/Automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • A proven ability to advise managers on employee relations and performance management.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to build strong working relationships.
  • The capacity to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Based in Solihull or Birmingham.
  • CIPD 3 or 5 qualified.
