What does the role involve?

We're looking for a motivated HR Advisor to join our team, reporting to the HR Business Partner. This role supports colleagues and people leaders in our Business Finance and Group Functions areas -- two dynamic environments where you'll have plenty of opportunity to make a real impact beyond day-to-day operations.

You'll handle a varied caseload of employee relations (ER) matters, offering sound advice and coaching to managers on best practice. You'll also contribute to the delivery of our People Plan, giving you exposure to stakeholders across the business and helping you develop as a commercially minded HR practitioner.


Some of your key duties will include:




Providing practical support and advice on ER issues including workplace relations and performance management Supporting the HRBP with organisational change initiatives Coaching managers through disciplinary, capability, and grievance procedures
Acting as the go-to contact for employee lifecycle events such as maternity, flexible working, and occupational health, while liaising with People Services on contractual matters

You're passionate about HR and excited by the opportunity to support people and drive positive outcomes. You're a strong communicator, great at listening and understanding different perspectives, and you bring a solution-focused mindset to everything you do.



Also, we're looking for the following:


Solid knowledge of employment law and how it applies in ER contexts Hands-on experience with key ER processes including performance improvement, disciplinary and grievance procedures A customer-focused approach and a genuine passion for coaching and supporting managers A pragmatic mindset - you know when to stick to policy and when to flex A sharp eye for data and insights
