We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Advisor to join our team in providing outstanding support to our staff and clients. Key duties:
Update and maintain the HR Policy and Procedures Manual / Staff Handbook.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation.
Act as the HR liaison point for staff and management.
Conduct initial interviews for all office staff candidates.
Issue offer letters and statements of terms and conditions of employment to
successful applicants.
Conduct reference checks
Right to work checks
Manage staff departures, maternity leave, and retirement.
Handle staff conflicts, disciplinaries and assist in resolving staff/management
issues.
Set up and maintain personal files for new employees, ensuring accuracy.
Prepare and maintain job descriptions for all staff.
Update and maintain contracts of employment for all staff.
Ensure competitive salaries by staying informed on market salary data.
Maintain accurate HR information, including appraisals, performance reviews,
and monitor key performance indicators.
Provide accurate information to the Finance Department for monthly payroll
processing, including computations for extra time and on-call payments.
Monitor and record all absence, holiday, and overtime records.
Assist with P11D information for year-end.
Support the IT & Facilities Manager in updating the Health and Safety policy in
line with current legislation.
Stay informed on employment legislation for implementation by the company.
Maintain all personnel records, including copies of appraisals.
What We're Looking For:
CIPD Level 5
Experience working in a standalone HR generalist role.
Care background desirable.
