The People and Organisational Development Directorate has exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join us to cover a period of maternity leave until 31st March 2025.
Working within our People and Organisation Development directorate, with the support of a HR Business Partner you will support our managers to deliver the best approach to people management, reduce absence and improve recruitment and retention.

Your role will be to support the effective delivery of a high quality and professional Human Resources service providing focused challenge, advice and guidance to managers in the Trust and ensure effective implementation of, and compliance with, all workforce policies, procedures, workforce practices and standards.
You will be expected to lead on reducing sickness absence through active management of cases including short & long-term sickness and manage a caseload of investigations i.e. disciplinary grievance and harassment and performance management issues.
You will also be expected to communicate with Trade Union representatives, senior managers and clinicians confidently and effectively regarding workforce matters and casework. You will have a strong background in HR, but NHS experience is not essential, more important is your drive and enthusiasm with an ability to apply your HR knowledge and expertise to an NHS setting.
