We're looking for an experienced HR Advisor to support our managers and teams with expert guidance across a wide range of HR matters, from employee relations to policy implementation and people-focused projects.

About the Role:



As our HR Advisor, you'll be instrumental in supporting the delivery of Arborvitae Care's HR strategy. You'll partner with managers across the organisation to provide timely, customer-focused advice, helping to navigate complex employee issues while supporting positive people management practices.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, influencing change, and driving HR best practice in a values-led environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide high-quality, solution-focused HR advice to managers on complex and sensitive employee relations issues. Coach and support line managers in applying HR policies and best practices with confidence. Support disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and other employee casework, including investigations and hearings. Deliver training and upskilling to managers, empowering them to manage their teams effectively. Build strong working relationships across the business to understand team needs and provide tailored HR support. Collaborate with the wider HR team to roll out initiatives, drive change, and embed organisational values. Maintain accurate HR records and support the monitoring of HR trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Contribute to the development and review of HR policies and ensure ongoing legal compliance. Champion a proactive, consistent, and employee-focused HR service at all times.

Person Specification:



Essential Skills & Experience:



CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Officer in a busy, generalist HR environment. Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices. Proven ability to resolve employee relations issues confidently and effectively. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a tactful, professional approach. Analytical and problem-solving mindset with great attention to detail. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing organisation. Confident working with stakeholders at all levels and handling confidential information. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to personal and professional development.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
