Key Responsibilities:
Expertise in Employment Law: Maintain a sound knowledge of UK employment law, including employment legislation, ACAS, and CIPD codes of practice, contract law, and discrimination rights, ensuring compliance and best practices.?
Employee Relations Support: Provide advice and support on disciplinary and grievance cases, absence management, and coach line managers to foster a positive culture and work environment.?
Case Management: Manage a personal caseload of complex employee relations issues, keeping Senior Leadership teams informed of risks as they arise.?
Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and practices that align with organisational goals and strategies.?
Strategic Focus: Respond to and manage diverse situations while remaining focused on long-term plans, staying updated on industry trends and developments within the HR profession.?
Team Support and Mentorship: Guide People Service Assistants on first-line cases and mentor high-potential team members to support their professional growth.?
Negotiation Skills: Apply strong negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes during disputes or complex discussions with managers at all levels.?
Confidentiality and Integrity: Uphold confidentiality and integrity at all times.?
