Are you a passionate HR & OD Advisor who is driven by improving the colleague experience?



We're looking for two HR & OD Advisors to join #TeamSalford for 12 months to cover maternity leave in our Children's Services and Place Directorates.

What makes this role exciting?

Reporting into a HR&OD Business Partner, you'll become an expert in the services you support. You'll support managers and colleagues with a people-centred approach that is inclusive and efficient. You'll collaborate with wider HR colleagues and functions to deliver value-add expertise that enables our organisation to deliver for the residents of Salford. You'll spot opportunities for continuous improvement and empower managers with the advice and tools they need to lead the Salford way.

We're looking for someone who:

Thrives in a varied role, helping our leaders shape and deliver their people plans. Is a confident communicator and collaborator, able to build relationships quickly and to influence. Acts with integrity, empathy, and a commitment to inclusion and continuous improvement. Has the employment law knowledge and skills to manage complex ER queries and a varied caseload.
