Location:

Care and Carers Office, Haddenham

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (office-based)

Salary:

26,000 - 27,000 per annum

On-Call Payments:

20 per night (Monday-Thursday), 30 (Friday), 60 (Saturday - Sunday), with enhanced rates for bank holiday coverage, done as a rotational schedule which is to check visits are being completed via our admin app and answer any phone calls that come in

The Role



We're looking for an organised, proactive, and people-focused

HR and Rota Coordinator

to join our office team in Haddenham.

This is a key role responsible for keeping our rotas running smoothly while supporting the full employee lifecycle -- from recruitment and onboarding through to training, wellbeing, and retention. You'll work closely with all members of the admin team to ensure carers feel supported and valued, and that our records, systems, and compliance remain accurate and up to date.

Please note: this is an

in-person office-based role

. There is no work-from-home option, except when providing on-call cover.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and maintain weekly care rotas, ensuring efficient scheduling and continuity of care. Work closely with all members of the admin team to cover absences, holidays, and short-notice changes. Lead on recruitment, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and completing safe recruitment checks. Coordinate onboarding and induction for new starters, ensuring a smooth and positive start to their employment. Maintain accurate HR and training records on the Careberry system and monitor compliance against CQC standards. Oversee the training matrix and ensure all mandatory and refresher training is completed on time. Support the employee lifecycle, including probation reviews, supervisions, appraisals, and exit processes. Contribute to staff wellbeing by arranging check-ins, recognising achievements, and promoting a supportive workplace culture. Assist with HR documentation such as offer letters, contracts, and employment change forms. Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support as scheduled.

About You



We're looking for someone who:

Has strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively. Has previous experience in HR, rota coordination, or recruitment (ideally within health or social care). Understands confidentiality, data protection, and safe recruitment practices. Is confident using computer systems and maintaining accurate records. Holds

CIPD Level 3 or above

, or is working towards this qualification.
