Role Overview
The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Delta Group HR team. Key responsibilities will include completing administrative duties covering the employee life cycle, payroll & uniform ordering.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update employee records in the HR information system (HRIS)
Prepare HR-related documents, such as new starter employment contracts, employee change letters, and leavers
Conduct pre-employment checks, such as right to work and reference checks
Support with employee communications - noticeboard updates/managing post
Assist with the coordination of HR projects and initiatives
Be the first point of contact for employee queries
Monitor and maintain the HR email inbox
Supporting with recruitment across the group via the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Post job openings on various platforms and track applicant status
Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers
Plan and conduct new starter inductions to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
Administration of benefits programs, including enrolment and termination of benefits, answering basic employee questions, and issuing vouchers for Supersid, Specsavers etc
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all employee information and company data
Manage the employee uniform process - ensuring all staff are supplied with the correct allocation of uniform & maintaining in-house stock.
