Overview



We are looking for an enthusiastic and people-focused Apprentice HR Assistant to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, community-driven environment while studying towards a recognised HR qualification (CIPD HR Support Level 3). As an Apprentice HR Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the HR Manager to deliver an excellent people experience across the Trust. You'll help ensure our colleagues are supported throughout their employment journey with a specific emphasis on learning and development. You will be involved in a wide range of HR and training activities, helping to coordinate processes, maintain records, and contribute to the growth and wellbeing of our teams working in leisure, culture, and community settings.

HR Administration & Support



Provide day-to-day administrative support across all areas of HR. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in line with data protection standards. Assist with the recruitment process including advertising roles, shortlisting, arranging interviews, and onboarding new starters. Support the coordination of employee inductions. Assist with HR correspondence such as contracts, letters, and reports.

Training & Development



Assist in planning and coordinating training sessions, workshops, and mandatory courses via MagNet (e.g., safeguarding, health & safety, customer service). Maintain the MagNet and internal matrix for learning and development and ensure training records are accurate and up to date. Support the delivery of learning initiatives that promote personal and professional development. Seek additional learning opportunities for employees. Help evaluate training outcomes and employee feedback to improve learning programmes.

Employee Engagement & Culture



Contribute to wellbeing, diversity, and engagement initiatives for employees across the Trust. Support internal communications such as newsletters and recognition programmes. Promote the Trust's values and a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Apprenticeship Learning



Complete all elements of the apprenticeship training programme within agreed timeframes (with Crosby Training). Apply your learning on the job and seek feedback to continually develop your skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Apprenticeship, Graduate

Pay: 9.18-12.21 per hour
