Job Description

The Houses of Parliament Restoration and Renewal Programme has been established to tackle the significant work that needs to be done to protect and preserve the heritage of the Palace of Westminster and ensure it can continue to serve as home to the UK Parliament in the 21st century. This is an enormous and unprecedented undertaking, which is expected to be the most complex renovation programme of any single building the UK has ever seen.


This is an exciting Programme to be a part of and you will work alongside experienced HR professionals, learning all aspects of HR and applying good practice in the workplace to support your learning. This role will cover the complete employee lifecycle, supporting HR facilitation, learning and development activity and administration of our HR system, as well as having the opportunity to get involved in key projects.


You will be given lots of support from our dedicated Apprentice Manager and the opportunity to network and learn from the wider HR team as well as networking opportunities with our existing apprentices. Our commitment to enhancing your learning means that this role will provide a good first step into the HR environment.


All you need to succeed in this role is enthusiasm to learn, the ability to work effectively within a team and to be able to demonstrate your excellent organisational skills. We're not seeking specific experience, just the will to succeed and a commitment to your personal development.
