Reporting to a HR Business Partner and working within a team of knowledgeable people-focused professionals who are passionate about HR and school improvement, you will gain exposure and hands on experience to support your development and skills.
In Summary, the role will be to:
- Provide a professional HR administrative service to schools across the Trust. This includes managing the recruitment process end to end from an administrative perspective, organising training, supporting with employee relations and providing HR administrative support to employees and managers.
- Respond to first line HR queries from employees and managers by phone and email, escalating where appropriate.
- Provide advice to managers and staff on recruitment and on-boarding along with administering contractual documentation.
- Maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) and ensure employee records are kept up to date.
Requirements
- Administrative experience in either an HR or generalist environment
- An interest in continuing or pursuing a career in HR.
- Evidence of strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to organise and plan own workload.
- Flexible approach demonstrating the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity.
