We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused

HR Assistant

to join our team at

AluK

, with a

key focus on recruitment, onboarding, engagement and talent initiatives

. You'll play a vital role in attracting and welcoming new talent, supporting managers through the recruitment process, and helping to build a positive and inclusive employee experience from day one.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with

experience in recruitment

who's ready to grow their career in a broader HR role. You'll work closely with hiring managers, employees, and the wider HR team to deliver a seamless and professional service.

What you'll be doing:



Recruitment & Talent:

Manage end-to-end recruitment for a variety of roles -- from drafting job adverts and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and issuing offers. Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and help them attract the right talent. Maintain accurate recruitment data and help identify ways to improve processes and candidate experience.

Onboarding:

Coordinate all onboarding activities to ensure new starters have a smooth, positive and engaging introduction to AluK. Prepare new starter documentation, contracts and right-to-work checks. Support managers to deliver effective inductions.

Engagement & Talent Support:

Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and internal communications. Support the delivery of learning and development and talent programmes. Help implement HR projects that strengthen culture and retention.

General HR Administration:

Maintain employee records accurately and confidentially. Provide general administrative support to the HR team across the employee lifecycle.

What we're looking for:



Previous experience in

recruitment

-- either in-house or agency. A proactive, organised and people-centred approach. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative mindset with a genuine interest in supporting people and teams.
