About the role:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR support and keen to grow your career in a dynamic and people-focused environment? We're looking for an organised and proactive HR Assistant to join our HR team, providing first-line support and ensuring smooth delivery across a wide range of HR activities including employee relations, reward, performance, and engagement.
This is a permanent role based from our Northampton office 4 days per week and 1 day remote if required.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
Manage the HR inbox and redirect queries to the appropriate team members.
Maintain accurate employee data and support payroll processes.
Produce and issue employee letters and contract amendments.
Support HR processes including onboarding, leavers, and low-level ER cases.
About you
Previous experience in a similar HR role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Confident using Microsoft Excel
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
