What you will be doing:
As a HR & Business Administrator, you will be responsible for all day to day admin of the business, utilising communication, technology, and organisation skills to ensure accurate and up to date records that meet the needs of the business and comply with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise and coach managers and stakeholders in all aspects of day to day operational HR with the support of an external HR advisory service. Including employee relations, discipline, grievance, absence, promotion, selection, performance, training and development.
Review and update HR policies, procedures and practices on an ongoing basis to ensure they comply with up to date legislation and best practice.
Own and coordinate the recruitment process.
Use social media channels and job boards to promote the employer brand and current opportunities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges and universities to promote employment opportunities at Pentaxia.
Generating correspondence relating to employee lifecycle; contract changes, probation extensions, sickness absence, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave, disciplinary and grievance matters & performance management.
Manage the Company Training Plan and Budget.
Provide advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management with the support of an external HR advisory service.
Review and develop new and/or enhance existing HR procedures and validation activities.
Answering phones and directing calls accordingly. Taking phone messages/voicemails and passing them on to the relevant staff member/s if they're unavailable.
Managing the meeting room and pool vehicle bookings.
Ensuring the reception area is always kept presentable.
Providing office support. Scanning and organising files for the business.
Being ready for any other administrative tasks that are required.
Contribute to the organisation's process improvement activities.
Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation.
Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health and safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure the safety and well-being of both staff, visitors, and any external contractors.
Compliance with the companies QA policy and procedures.
Other duties as directed.

Your working hours:
37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm
Friday 7.30am - 12.30pm
Variations to these hours and overtime may be asked of you dependent on business needs.
