Main Purpose and Scope of Job
We have an exciting opportunity for a HR and Business Administrator to join our team. In this role, you would be responsible for providing administrative support across HR wider business operations, with added responsibilities in legal administration and personal assistant duties.
Within this role you will report directly to the HR Director and Managing Director.
Key accountabilities
HR Administration
1. Maintain accurate employee records in line with GDPR and company policy.
2. Support recruitment processes including advertising, scheduling interviews, and issuing offer letters.
3. Prepare and issue employment contracts, new starter documentation, and onboarding materials.
4. Track and record absence, probation reviews, training, and performance appraisals.
5. Assist with hr benchmarking and benefit administration.
6. Coordinate HR documentation for employee relations matters and attend meetings to take minutes when needed.
Business Administration
1. Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team, managing agendas, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports or presentations.
2. Coordinate internal communications, meeting packs, and follow-up actions.
3. Support cross-functional projects, tracking deadlines, deliverables, and documentation.
Legal Administration
1. Support the preparation, formatting, and filing of legal documents including contracts, NDAs, and service agreements.
2. Monitor and track contract expiry and renewal dates, raising reminders or renewal actions.
3. Liaise with external legal providers or regulatory bodies as required.
4. Maintain accurate and confidential records of compliance and legal correspondence.
Personal Assistant Duties
1. Provide PA support to senior leaders, including diary management, travel bookings, and expense claims.
2. Prioritise and manage incoming communications, flagging urgent matters.
3. Ensure preparation for key meetings and events, including document collation and logistics.

Qualifications/Experience
Essential
Previous experience in a legal admin role or corporate governance environments
Desirable
CIPD Level 3
Knowledge of HR systems or project tracking tools
Understanding of the UK employment law and HR best practice
