To provide the Legacy Centre of Excellence with consistent HR support, ensuring our people practices are legally compliant, organised, and supportive of our social mission. This role is designed for a detail-oriented HR professional who can maximize impact within a focused 4-hour weekly window.
Key Responsibilities
1. Core Compliance & Documentation
Review and maintain employee personnel files (digital).
Ensure all staff have up-to-date contracts and have received the Employee Handbook.
Monitor "Right to Work" documentation and ensure GDPR compliance regarding staff data.
2. Managerial Support
Act as a first point of contact for Directors regarding staff queries or policy interpretation.
Provide templates for 1-to-1 meetings, leave requests, and performance reviews.
Advise on basic employee relations issues to prevent escalation.
3. Streamlined Recruitment
Post job adverts on relevant platforms and coordinate the initial sifting of CVs.
Issue offer letters and coordinate the "Day 1" onboarding checklist.
4. Policy Maintenance
Conduct a rolling review of one key policy per month (e.g., Equality & Diversity, Safeguarding, or Health & Safety) to ensure they remain current.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience:
3+ years in an HR Management/Coordinator/Advisor role.
Experience:
Experience of working with Diverse teams
Qualifications:
CIPD Level 3 or 5
Skills:
Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and excellent administrative organization.
Communication:
Able to provide clear, concise advice to non-HR managers.
Efficiency:
A "doer" who can manage their time effectively to complete tasks within the 4-hour weekly slot.
