General Scope and Purpose
To be totally customer focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach
To take control, accountability and ownership for the management of the Human Resources Department within the overall policies and controls established by the company and hotel General Manager, ensuring that the brand values and standards are delivered and budgeted profitability achieved.
Responsibilities:
1.
To maintain a high level of communication with Cluster HR Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager, Department Manager and all Team Members.
2.
To support co-ordinate the recruitment of departmental Team Members up to Department Manager level in line with Company Right Fit Recruitment Policy.
3.
To assist with recruitment events promoting the hotel as a leading employer.
4.
To take ownership of the onboarding process including, right to work checks, reference checks and personal data imputing.
5.
To co-ordinate and run hotel inductions ensuring all new and transferred Team Members attend company and departmental induction at the hotel.
6.
To conduct new starter, 6 monthly refresher and 3 monthly refresher fire training.
7.
To keep track of employee 2 week, 6 week and probation reviews and follow up with managers if not completed.
8.
To ensure exit interviews are carried out by head of departments and review and action concerns raised.
9.
To post weekly updates on the My EPS bulleting of relevant information, such as internal vacancy, engagement activities, charity events, celebration invites, employee of the month winner etc.
10.
To update relevant tracker information on a weekly or monthly basis, payroll tracker, training tracker, leaver tracker.
11.
To manage shout out rewards system and team birthday cards.
12.
To ensure team notice boards are tidy and up to date displaying all correct legislation and company standard items, including internal vacancy board.
13.
To manage the team committee and feedback to Cluster HR Manager.
14.
To support with HR audition and ensure legal compliance at all times.
15.
To ensure all relevant team documents are scanned to the eps system in a timely manner.
16.
Support managers with Employee Relations issues, including investigation, disciplinaries, performance management etc.
17.
To assist with motivating Team Members in order to encourage maximum commitment and high levels of performance.
18.
To plan, allocate and co-ordinate work experience students to departments who can support and provide necessary training.
19.
To support with team on apprenticeship scheme.
20.
To attend training when required.
21.
To always attend work looking presentable as per the team grooming policy.
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 7 months
Pay: 15.00 per hour
