We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring that our organisation runs smoothly and efficiently. This position requires strong administrative skills, proficiency in HRIS systems, and a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of employees.
Maintain and manage HR systems (e.g. BrightHR) and ensure accurate, up-to-date employee data.
Assist in the calculation of annual leave and other entitlements.
Prepare employment documentation such as contracts, change letters, and probation confirmations
Oversee management of complex employee relations activities and casework including managing absence, disciplinary, grievances, sickness, capability and performance matters.
Develop and update HR forms, templates, policies, and procedures in line with employment legislation
Writing and reviewing company policies and procedures in line with legislation, terms and conditions of service and best practice.
Dealing with right-to-work eligibility enquiries and assisting with visa applications and criminal record checks.
Ensuring that all employees' records remain up to date and legally cover the company.
Responsible for all HR administrative tasks, including but not limited to submitting stationery and purchase orders, and creating or cancelling employee ID cards, note taking during meetings.
Support HR events such as inductions, training sessions, and exit interviews.
Support and streamline the day-to-day administration of documentation in line with GDPR legislation.
Preparing new hire documentation.
Updating any employee changes including leave, absence, and terms and conditions of employment on our Bright HR, including payroll related.
