Job Overview


We are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator who is people- focused to join our warm and friendly team and provide maternity cover for up to 12 months. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support organisational HR functions, streamline processes, and contribute to a positive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with HR systems.

As our HR Coordinator, you'll play a key role in keeping our HR function running smoothly. You'll provide day-to-day support to employees and managers, ensuring that everyone feels informed, valued, and supported.

Responsibilities



Managing the full employee lifecycle - from onboarding to leavers. Maintaining accurate HR records and updating HR systems (we use Bright HR and Workday - experience is helpful but not essential). Supporting recruitment and new starter processes. Assisting with employee relations queries and HR documentation. Supporting wellbeing and engagement initiatives to boost team morale. Providing general HR administration and project support to the Senior Management team. Support employee record management, including data entry, document filing, and updating personnel files. Facilitate communication between HR department and staff through various channels, ensuring clarity and professionalism. Assist in organising training sessions, employee engagement initiatives, and other HR-related programmes.

Skills



Proficiency in HRIS platforms such as Bright HR, Workday, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of human resources practices and employment legislation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with staff at all levels. Experience with data entry accuracy and attention to detail in managing employee information. Proven administrative experience supporting HR functions or related departments. Ability to adapt to new systems and software tools relevant to human resources operations. Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
