Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human resources functions and be adept at managing various HR processes. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The Human Resources Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting our workforce and ensuring that our HR practices align with organisational goals.

HR Officer / Generalist Potential progression path to HR Manager (12-18 months)

Location: Belfast HQ, with operations also in ROI Employees: ~60

Role summary

Own the day-to-day HR activities and support a positive, compliant people culture across the group. The remit spans the full employee lifecycle, with a potential route to HR Manager.

Key duties

Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction. Lead or advise on disciplinary, grievance and absence cases. Coordinate probation reviews, performance reviews, talent and succession planning. Chair the Engage & Empower committee (culture, engagement, charity). Maintain HR policies, HRMS data and statutory monitoring for NI & ROI. Produce HR metrics for senior management decision-making. Plan and track training and development activity. Liaise with Assistant Accountant to ensure accurate and on-time processing ofpayroll. Administer employee benefits.
Assist with Health and Safety and ISO accreditation administration.

Essential experience & skills

At least 3 years of experience in Human resources at senior/officer level. CIPD Level 5 Diploma (or higher). Up-to-date knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practice.
Proven track record across the full employee lifecycle.

Highly organised, clear communicator able to influence at all levels.

Desirable



Working knowledge of ROI employment law. Membership of a recognised HR professional body. Understanding of GDPR and Health & Safety obligations.
