Navantia UK is a UK incorporated company, subsidiary of Spanish Navantia, created to work with UK industrial partners in shipbuilding, defence and in offshore wind energy. With a history that goes back more than 300 hundred years, Navantia is a world reference in the design, building, integration and life cycle support of state-of-the-art war ships for the Spanish Navy and international customers and has extensive experience in ToT programmes.
Research e-learning tools and platforms suitable for internal staff training (e.g., office staff, engineers, and tradespeople)
Develop a short feasibility report outlining options, costs, and recommendations
Work alongside the L&D team to understand the content of current face-to-face sessions
Create a prototype or draft digital learning module for one key topic area
Present findings and draft outputs to stakeholders at the end of the placement
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
We're open to applicants from a range of backgrounds, including:
Students or recent graduates in instructional design, digital media, education, HR, communications, or a related field
Strong interest in digital learning, education technology, or user experience
Confident using digital tools (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, video editing, or similar software)
Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
Excellent communication and writing skills
Curiosity and a willingness to learn--we don't expect you to know everything already
