We are seeking to appoint a HR Manager to providing specialist HR support to the School Operations, and to contribute to the active promotion of the school's vision and ethos. We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function and help shape a positive, high-performing working culture across the school. Prior experience working within the education sector is essential for this role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting staff and developing strong people strategies. Reporting to the School Business Manager and working closely with the senior leadership team, the HR Manager will have overall responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of HR within the School. The job holder will also be supporting the SENCO and the Deputy Head(Inclusion) with administration duties;
The role involves managing the full employee lifecycle--from recruitment and onboarding to staff development, performance management, and employee relations.
We are seeking a professional with;
a strong background in HR (essential)
experience in the education sector (essential)
a solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice (essential)
a CIPD qualification Level 5 or above (highly desirable) - already completed or willing to undertake once in post
excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to balance
strategic thinking
with hands-on
operational delivery
will be essential for success in this role (essential).
