HR Manager

to join our team and help shape our people strategy.

Job Summary



The

HR Manager

will oversee all aspects of human resources management and employee relations within the organisation. This role will support our UK and overseas teams, ensure compliance with employment legislation, and play a key role in fostering a positive, high-performance work culture.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to offboarding. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and handbooks in line with best practice and legal requirements. Provide support and guidance to line managers on HR-related issues including performance, disciplinary matters, grievance handling, and absence management. Maintain accurate HR records, manage HR systems, and ensure compliance with GDPR. Oversee training and development initiatives, including health & safety, food safety, and compliance training. Support workforce planning and labour management for our warehouse, driving team efficiency. Administer payroll changes, employee benefits, and statutory reporting in collaboration with the finance department. Drive employee engagement and wellbeing programmes across departments. Advise on employment law updates and support the management team in maintaining legal compliance. Liaise with our overseas team in Pakistan on HR matters where relevant.

Essential Skills & Experience



Proven experience as an HR Manager or Senior HR Officer, ideally in a fast-paced, operational or distribution environment. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Highly organised with attention to detail and a proactive approach. Confident handling employee relations and advising managers at all levels. Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g. BrightHR, BreatheHR or similar). CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards) preferred.

Desirable Attributes



Experience in wholesale, logistics, foodservice, or multi-site operations. Familiarity with HR operations involving both UK and overseas teams. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Pay: 30,000.00-51,677.00 per year
