About the role

The Bartlett School of Architecture is seeking to appoint a full-time HR manager. The role holder plays a pivotal role within the School of Architecture's Professional Services team, with significant responsibility for ensuring the effective delivery of the HR function across both operational and strategic levels.

About you

The successful candidate for the HR Manager role will be expected to provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of people management within the School. Key performance objectives include strengthening recruitment and retention practices, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. The HR Manager will lead on workforce planning, employee relations, and professional development initiatives, ensuring alignment with both School and institutional priorities. They will be expected to build strong partnerships with academic and professional services leaders, deliver timely and effective HR advice, and contribute to continuous improvement in organisational effectiveness and staff wellbeing.
