HR MANAGER

Overview:

A rare and exciting opportunity to join our international client as a HR Manager based in London.

Based in London

Hybrid work structure: 2 days office, 3 days WFH

Up to \xc2\xa365,000k PLUS 20 days holiday plus BH, 4 additional days over the Christmas period and length of service annual leave enhancements. 5% employer pension contribution, cycle to work scheme, interest free season travel loans, Linkedin learning, BUPA healthcare and many more!!

Monday to Friday

Start date: Asap!

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise Directors, Associates and staff on all HR policies and procedures
  • Prepare and issue job offers, contracts and new starter information packs
  • Monitor and review existing company policies and procedures; recommend and implement revisions where necessary
  • Ensure Directors are advised of updates to employment legislation
  • Recommend the implementation of new policies and procedures, where required
  • Manage and review the work of the HR Assistant
  • Prepare a monthly HR report for board meetings, liaising with the Resources Director
  • Provide HR related information for Marketing tenders, as necessary
  • Deal with complex disciplinary, grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills
  • Deal with all redundancy process and procedures
  • Liaise with the Resources Director on recruitment issues
  • Liaise with the Resources Director on preparation and updating of job descriptions in line with evolving company structure
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies /place of recruitment advertisements / co-ordinate interviews and manage applicant responses / manage employment offers
  • Liaise with the Marketing team on the preparation of advertisements for Industry Publications
  • Prepare and implement annual staff training programme
  • Monitor training programme and staff training evaluation feedback
  • The role requires the following :
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Examples of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team members
  • Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the management team
  • Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture
  • Confident directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development
  • Demonstrable experience in managing disciplinarians, grievances, redundancy or other relevant HR projects
  • Strong understanding of employment law
