About this role
A prestigious and award winning architecture practice in West London are seeking a HR Manager to join their supportive team. This role is pivotal to the organisation and will see you working closely with the Directors and practice management team providing assistance and leading HR best practice, policies, procedures and employment legislation.They are and Employee Owned Trust (EOT), offer hybrid working and a number of other benefits including EOT bonus, additional, holiday based on length of service and private medical insurance as well as host of social perks and events.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and assistance to the Directors on HR best practice, policies, procedures and employment legislation
  • Provide support and consultation on employee relations issues, and work with the Directors to manage issues as they arise in a timely, professional manner
  • Review and update HR policies and procedures, the staff handbook, contracts and intranet
  • Oversee recruitment and ensure job descriptions and roles matrices are updated
  • Manage staff inductions and work experience students
  • Manage staff circle and coordinate staff appraisals and associated outcomes
  • Oversee and coordinate staff training including CPDs, technical and management training
  • Manage all staff files
  • Carry out exit interviews and analyse trends
  • Assist with on BCorps Certification process to provide people information for external surveys and client bids
  • Manage the process for sponsorship of overseas workers
  • Lead on Diversity & Inclusion and Wellbeing initiatives
Skills and Experience
  • Prior experience within a HR manager or Senior HR Advisor role
  • Experience within the architecture/design industry would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of HR legislation and processes
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
