Mack Wholesale operates primarily in the UK's fresh produce sector, as an importer and sales agent to the UK's wholesale, foodservice and cruise ship sectors and as a business that markets and commercialises rights management of new table grape varieties. Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and confident HR Manager to lead the people function within Mack Wholesale. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will act as a trusted partner to the leadership team, providing strategic and operational HR support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

This is a standalone role with responsibility for shaping and delivering the HR agenda across our three key sites in Southampton, Birmingham, and Bristol. You'll be integral in embedding consistent, values-led people practices while supporting the business through a period of exciting transformation and growth.

Key Skills:

Significant HR generalist experience, including at HR Manager or equivalent level.

Strong understanding of UK employment law and employee relations casework.

Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and influencing skills across all levels.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and make sound, pragmatic decisions.

Previous experience in a multi-site or operational environment.

A solutions-focused mindset with the ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on delivery.

Willingness to travel regularly between sites as required.

Preferred Skills:

CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.

Experience in the fresh produce wholesale industry is desirable but not essential.
