Part Time, Permanent HR Manager


Based at BV Dairy in Shaftesbury



We are currently looking for a part time HR Manager to join our HR team on a permanent basis. This role is based at BV Dairy in Shaftesbury, working 16 hours per week with occasional travel required.

The Role



As an HR Manager, you will report to the HR Business Partner and work across all areas of the HR remit in a true generalist capacity, working with the BV Dairy Business Unit. This will involve providing best practice HR expertise, supporting the delivery and implementation of the annual people plan whilst working collaboratively with colleagues. This role will also be responsible for supporting providing up-to-date advice, guidance and support, taking into account HR best practice and legislation.



Additionally, you will:
Support the development of a regenerative culture
Coach line managers on a range of employee relations issues - which includes discipline, grievance and performance management
Review policies & procedures, ensuring adherence with legislation and HR best practice and supporting the development, integration and implementation on site
Deliver training
Utilise the HR system effectively



About You



To be considered as an HR Manager, you will need:
Previous experience of delivering in an HR Manager capacity
Experience of having worked successfully in a similar level of role in a fast-paced environment
Deep understanding of HR principles and best practice in the areas of Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruitment and Learning & Development
Ability to apply clearly developed rationale and logic to demanding situations
Solid employment law knowledge and proven experience of applying updated legislation to a variety of HR situations
Demonstrable evidence of their ability to coach and influence senior colleagues




An advantage would be the above in a manufacturing environment.
