Overview



We are seeking a highly organised and proactive HR / Office Administrator & HSE Officer to support our day?to?day business operations. This role combines HR administration, office coordination, and hands?on Health & Safety responsibilities and we will consider applications at all levels because the right person is the most important.You will be the central point of contact for employee administration, compliance documentation, HSE processes, and general office support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and ensuring the business runs smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities



HR Administration



- Maintain employee records, contracts, and onboarding documentation.

- Support recruitment administration including scheduling interviews and preparing offer packs.- Track holidays, sickness, and absence records.

- Assist with HR queries and escalate where necessary.

Office Administration



- Manage office supplies, order logs, and supplier coordination.

- Maintain physical and digital filing systems.

- Support general office operations to ensure a smooth working environment.

- Handle incoming calls, emails, and visitor management.

Health & Safety (HSE)

Spend 2 days per week dedicated to Health & Safety duties.

- Conduct routine HSE checks across the site.

- Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and legal requirements.

- Maintain and update log books, safety documentation, and risk assessments.- Manage both physical and digital HSE trackers.

- Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.

- Coordinate staff training records and HSE inductions.

SO & Compliance



- Assist with ISO audits and ongoing compliance activities.

- Ensure documentation is up to date and audit?ready.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives across quality and safety systems.

Skills & Experience



- Experience in HR administration, office administration, or a combined operational role.

- Knowledge of Health & Safety processes (HSE qualification desirable but not essential).

- Experience supporting ISO audits or compliance frameworks is an advantage.

- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Confident using digital systems, trackers, and MS Office.

- Able to work onsite full?time and manage competing priorities.
