We're working with a well-established
UK food manufacturer
seeking an experienced
HR Officer
to join the business on an
immediate-start basis
. This is an exciting role for someone who thrives in a busy, people-focused setting and enjoys being the go-to contact for HR support across the site.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll provide day-to-day operational HR Administration support to employees and line managers, ensuring smooth delivery of all HR processes and procedures.
This is a highly visible role where you'll make an immediate impact, supporting key areas such as employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and employee relations matters.
Support recruitment and onboarding activities for new starters.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
Advise line managers on absence management, disciplinaries, and performance issues.
Support training coordination and employee engagement initiatives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
About You
CIPD Level 3 (minimum) or equivalent HR qualification.
Proven HR experience within a
manufacturing or FMCG
environment (essential).
Strong working knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment law.
Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Available immediately
and able to commit to a full-time on-site role.
