We're looking for a proactive HR Officer to play a key role in delivering a full range of HR services -- from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, compliance, and training coordination. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about people, processes, and driving positive workplace culture.
The role of HR Officer:
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees
Support line managers with performance management processes
Handle employee relations, absence management, and policy updates
Coordinate training, benefits, and engagement initiatives
Maintain accurate HR systems and support payroll administration
Ensure compliance with employment law and HR best practice
Promote employee engagement initiatives
Administration of company benefits
Participate and lead internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is available and accurate
The ideal HR Officer:
Previous HR experience, ideally within logistics but not essential.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR processes
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
CIPD Level 3 or above (or working towards)
A proactive, flexible approach and attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Proactive and problem-solving attitude
