About the Role
You will play a central role in ensuring a smooth, timely and professional recruitment process with specific responsibility for drafting and placing job advertisements, coordinating interview and selection arrangements, issuing contractual documents, carrying out pre-employment checks, and overseeing onboarding and offboarding activities - all with a strong focus on delivering a positive, customer-focused experience.
In addition, you will provide expert guidance to candidates and managers to support timely onboarding, ensure key payroll and contractual deadlines are met, and maintain accurate records to support monitoring and compliance of DBS and UKVI-related activity.

About You
Proactive and innovative with a solution focussed approach, you will be highly organised and have excellent IT skills. Your strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills will enable you to develop effective working relationships at all levels across the University and will ensure that you quickly establish yourself as a key member of our friendly and supportive team.
You will have high attention to detail and accuracy, be organised and able to prioritise your own workload, and be confident to carry out research and contribute ideas to improve processes and adapt to changing legislative requirements.
