2 Posts | HR Support Officer - People Relations (LGR) | 9634 | Fixed Term Contract until 30 April 2026 | 37 hours per week | 26,403 to 28,142 (Scale E) | County Hall, Norwich
We are looking for a HR Support Officer with good administration skills and initiative to support our ambitious Local Government Reorganisation programme which will shape the future of local Government in Norfolk. As an HR Support Officer you will be tasked with reviewing Establishment Control of our records and addressing anomalies and correcting where necessary in accordance with our policies and procedures and will work closely with other teams to support our LGR programme.
The People Relations Team are the first point of contact for managers throughout Norfolk County Council on all employee relation matters. We respond daily to a considerable range of important enquiries on people topics and provide first line advice, guidance, and support throughout the employee lifecycle.
You will have good administration skills and be able to use your initiative, have strong customer service skills, flexibility in your approach to daily tasks and excellent interpersonal skills to support building relationships. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) is essential, as is the ability to manage your own workload and priorities.
