Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a HR Systems and Compliance Manager to join our people team; this role will be remote with national travel - Redhill, Surrey bi-weekly.



The HR Systems and Compliance Manager will be responsible for leading the HR Administration team to ensure that all processes and working practices requiring central management are delivered to meet agreed expectations and both statutory and regulatory compliance. This role is a key contributor in supporting the delivery of key people related process and supporting operational managers both on site and remotely.

Role Responsibilities





Leadership and day to day management of the HR Administration function for EMED Group. To work with the HR Administration team to ensure new starters and existing colleagues are legally and regulatory compliant. To deliver regular audits focusing on people compliance to identify and swiftly address any areas of non-compliance. To manage stakeholder expectations and operational challenges where start dates for new colleagues may be delayed as a result of pre-employment processes. To provide advice and guidance on all aspects of the HR lifecycle including recruitment & onboarding, terms and conditions changes and leavers processes. To support with management of Data Protection activity including the DSAR process, and handle GDPR incidents within the required timelines ensuring stakeholder visibility. To provide day to day management of the relationship with third party suppliers supporting core HR processes, such as for DBS & reference checking and pre-employment health questionnaires. To support with process improvement initiatives, implementation and design and delivery of operational manager coaching/training where required. Supporting wider People HR tasks as needed, and engagement with other teams as required including operations, payroll, recruitment & wider HR team.



Systems, Data & Reporting




To provide pro-active system management for EMED's people system (BambooHR). To support with data imports into BambooHR system. To manage the implementation of a monthly data cleanse process to ensure data integrity and accuracy within people systems. To own and regularly monitor people compliance dashboards, addressing and escalating any areas of concern. Identifying areas for improvement and enhanced reporting.



Do you have what it takes?




Previous HR & people compliance experience is essential (understanding of Right to Work processes, DBS processes and employment law requirements surrounding contracts of employment etc), ideally in an environment with multiple stakeholder responsibility. Previous team leadership experience. Knowledge & experience of healthcare sector, safer recruitment & onboarding and CQC requirements is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience in HR systems and proficient user of MS office packages such as Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerBI. Strong attention to detail and highly organised with ability to plan effectively, prioritise and work autonomously to meet agreed deadlines. Ability to drive results and adopt a pro-active approach. Strong relationship management skills, network building and team centred approach Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders with ability to engage and influence at all levels. A minimum of 2 years relevant experience with a good understanding of providing practical advice and management support. Currently studying or have completed CIPD Level 3 as a minimum and keen to progress.
