About the Role
Are you passionate about workplace safety and continuous improvement? We are looking for a proactive
H&S Administrator
to join our SHEQ team in Whetstone. Reporting to the SHEQ Officer, you will help embed a culture of health & safety excellence across all levels of the organisation -- from the shop floor to senior management -- while ensuring ongoing compliance and improvement in line with ISO45001, ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
Conduct and maintain risk assessments and RAMS
Organise and support H&S inspections, follow up on necessary improvements
Design and deliver Health & Safety inductions and refresher sessions
Develop safe work practices and procedures for hazardous tasks
Maintain PPE and hazardous substance registers
Support incident and near-miss reporting
Coordinate first aid provisions and certification tracking
Arrange and attend H&S meetings and steering committee updates
Gather and present SHEQ data and reports
Stay updated with relevant legislation and best practices
Quality & Compliance:
Support non-conformance reporting and root cause analysis
Assist with customer audits and internal quality audits
Maintain controlled document register and assist in SOP training
Contribute to KPI gathering and presentation creation
Help manage quality improvement initiatives and calibration schedules
Provide cover for ISO9001 activities as needed
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a quality or H&S role
Working knowledge of ISO9001 standards
Strong attention to detail and structured working style
Intermediate MS Office skills
Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
Strong communication and influencing skills
Desirable:
IOSH or NEBOSH certification
Six Sigma and/or Quality Auditor Certificate
Experience within an FMCG, chemical, or SME manufacturing environment
Familiarity with ISO14001 and ISO45001
