Your Role:
You will coordinate the HS&E team's activities, including the preparation of monthly reports, materials for meetings and presentations.
Support the updating of the Legislation Register and drafting QHSE Briefing Notes and Alerts when required.
You will deliver support the proposed annual Leadership Schedules for SMT and Board members.
You will establish and develop effective working relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders of ADSL's business.
You will organise business wide events, and conferences and negotiate rates with the venues, including liaising with the external presenter, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in place.
You will coordinate the business incident reporting system, preparing accurate incident data reports, reconciling monthly reporting from Garrison and partners, and conducting statistical analysis. It also includes ensuring proper documentation of reportable incidents and maintaining audit records for non-conformances and corrective actions.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
To be educated with a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C or above including English and Maths. A higher education level, a Business Administration NVQ and IOSH Managing safely would be advantageous.
Experience:
Requires experience working in demanding environments, with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. They should have advanced Microsoft/IT software knowledge, experience maintaining accurate financial data systems, and a proven track record of completing project work as part of a team.
Skills:
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong organisational abilities and attention to detail. They must be able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and influence others effectively whilst being a collaborative team player. The role requires a self-starter who takes initiative, shares knowledge, and approaches new challenges with flexibility and enthusiasm.
Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.*
