About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive
Part-Time HSE Manager
to oversee health, safety, and environmental standards across multiple active construction sites in the UK, but mostly based in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with UK legislation, company policies, and industry best practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated HSE professional seeking the chance to make a significant impact across a portfolio of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and audits across multiple sites.
Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, HSE guidelines, and company procedures.
Develop and implement site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to site teams.
Monitor subcontractor compliance with health and safety requirements.
Provide practical advice and support to site managers and project teams.
Prepare monthly HSE performance reports for senior management.
Lead accident/incident investigations and produce reports.
About You
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent HSE qualification (minimum NEBOSH Construction Certificate essential).
Strong knowledge of UK construction health & safety regulations (CDM 2015, Work at Height, etc.).
Experience in a construction HSE management role, ideally across multiple sites.
Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage site teams.
Competent report writing and organisational skills.
