Job Summary:


The HSEQ Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's health, safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures. This role ensures compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and client requirements, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, implement, and maintain HSEQ policies, procedures, and systems in alignment with legal standards and best practices. Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits across projects and sites. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions. Provide HSEQ training and support to all staff and subcontractors. Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards and report on key performance indicators. Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and stakeholders on HSEQ matters. Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all activities are carried out in a manner that minimizes risk. Ensure we all our people are trained and competent for the roles they are undertaking. Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry standards related to HSEQ. Prepare and present reports, audits, and reviews for senior management. Support the tendering and project teams in HSEQ-related issues and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:



Proven experience in HSEQ management within the utility contracting or construction industry. NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent; NEBOSH Diploma preferred. Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality legislation in the UK. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and conduct risk assessments. Relevant qualifications in environmental management or quality management are desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Pay: 32,000.00-50,000.00 per year
