Human Resources Advisor Part Time

Job Description

The HR advisor will provide part-time support across a broad range of HR functions, acting as the first point of contact for HR matters. The role plays an important part in ensuring a seamless employee journey, from recruitment through to induction, while upholding legal compliance and supporting day to day HR needs. The HR advisor will work closely with the heads of departments and line managers to ensure that HR processes are consistent, current and aligned with the company's values and goals.

Key responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding



1) Support recruitment process including drafting & posting job adverts, shortlisting candidates and organising interviews

2) Support managers during interview process

3) Prepare offer letters & employment contracts

4) Coordinate and assist in delivering effective induction programmes

HR Advisory



1) Provide day to day advice to managers and staff on HR policies, procedures and employee relations, in line with employment legislation

2) Assist with disciplinary, grievance and capability processes

3) Respond to HR queries in timely and professional manner

Policy Compliance



1) Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with employee legislation and best practice

2) Maintain staff handbook and ensure changes are communicated effectively

Ensure legal compliance at all times, staying up to date with employment law and advising management of necessary updates

HR Systems



1) Take ownership of BrightHR system - a purpose built platform to streamline and transform people management

2) Ensure staff records, sickness absence, holidays & HR documents are accurately maintained within the system

3) Liaise with Bright HR's advice team as needed to support complex matters

HR Administration



1) Maintain accurate personnel records

2) Support performance review process

3) Assist in the development of employee engagement initiatives and support for employee wellbeing

4) Support the company's goal of becoming a paperless workplace by promoting the use of digital HR systems and secure electronic storage.

Qualifications



Proven experience in human resources management Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Administrative experience in a human resources environment
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12,750.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 per week
