Robert Half has partnered with a leading business to recruit for a HR Business Partner (HR Operations).
This is an excellent 6-month fixed-term opportunity for an experienced HR professional to play a key role in delivering the people strategy across a complex, multi-site organisation. Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll focus on driving operational excellence, employee engagement, and effective industrial relations.
The Role
As HR Business Partner (HR Operations), you will:

• Partner with senior managers to deliver the People Plan across multiple business areas.
• Lead on employee relations, supporting and coaching the HR Advisory team on complex or high-risk cases.
• Support organisational change projects, including restructures, acquisitions, and TUPE transfers.
• Drive engagement and cultural improvement through coaching and leadership development.
• Manage trade union relationships and support the industrial relations strategy.
• Oversee occupational health partnerships and lead initiatives to improve absence management.
• Use HR data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive performance.
• Deputise for the Senior HR Business Partner and contribute to wider HR projects and initiatives.

About You
You will bring:

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor in a complex or multi-site environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Demonstrable experience managing complex employee and industrial relations.
• Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting organisational change, including TUPE and restructuring.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience.

The Offer

• Salary: circa 55,000 - 60,000 per annum
• Contract: 6-month fixed term
• Location: Hybrid working - based from Crewe or Derby with occasional travel to sites
