Job Description

We are working with a well-established London-based hotel group with a diverse portfolio of hotels, event spaces, restaurants and bars across the capital. This is a people-focused hospitality business that places culture, engagement and development at the heart of its success.
They are now looking to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to support both operational hotel teams and central functions, playing a key role in shaping the people agenda across the business.
The Role
As HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leaders and managers to build high-performing teams, strengthen engagement, and ensure HR practices support commercial and operational goals. This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll combine strategic thinking with practical delivery in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key areas of focus include:

  • Supporting managers with performance management, appraisals and development planning
  • Identifying high-potential talent and supporting capability uplift across teams
  • Championing learning, progression and career pathways
  • Advising on team structures, role design and workforce planning
  • Supporting initiatives that drive efficiency, flexibility and operational effectiveness
  • Using engagement data and feedback to identify themes and improvement opportunities
  • Partnering with leaders to deliver practical action plans that enhance employee experience
  • Promoting inclusive, open and values-led ways of working
  • Supporting succession planning and internal talent pipelines
  • Contributing to development programmes and talent initiatives
  • Coaching managers on best-practice recruitment and selection
  • Partnering with in-house recruitment teams to attract and retain strong hospitality talent
  • Acting as a trusted advisor on complex ER matters
  • Building manager confidence and capability in handling people issues fairly and consistently
About You
  • Strong hotel sector experience
  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisory role
  • Strong grounding in employee relations, engagement and talent management
  • Confident influencing and coaching managers at all levels
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to balance people priorities with business needs
  • Comfortable working across operational and corporate environments
  • Passionate about creating inclusive, supportive and high-performing workplaces
