Job Overview



Due to continued business growth, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our Edinburgh Head Office. This is an exciting, stand-alone role where you will act as the sole HR function, handling a full spectrum of HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you will provide PA support to the CEO, contributing to the smooth running of the firm.

Key Responsibilities



HR Operations:



Full-cycle recruitment and onboarding. Drafting and managing employment contracts and formal correspondence. Developing and maintaining company HR policies and procedures. Providing HR guidance to management, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices. Overseeing annual leave and absence management. Managing the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding.

PA Support to CEO:



Assisting with administrative tasks, including drafting formal letters and managing correspondence. Light diary management and scheduling support. Supporting company and social event planning.

Experience



Proven HR experience within a professional services firm. Strong knowledge of employment law and ability to provide fair, consistent HR advice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. A proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications



CIPD Foundation Certificate (preferred but not essential)

Salary is negotiable based on experience
